"You moved the headstones, but you left the bodies! Why? WHYYYY?"

So if it's not already obvious, we watched Poltergeist last night and I have say, I think we spent 4/5 of the film laughing insanely.

In other news, I'm alive! Yes, I drove my husband to work this morning and then drove back home, my first trip by myself, and I'm still alive to tell the tale! For those of you who don't know, I got my license on Tuesday. It sounds so pathetic to say that you're 23 and only just got your driver's license, but there you have it. I only lost one point on the test, and that was when the instructor asked me where the emergency flashers were. Roy hadn't shown me them before, but I knew what the symbol on the button looked like so I was scanning the front looking for it and Roy leaned in and said, "Right here". Of course, the instructor told him he had to go away and that he couldn't be in the car during my test, and Roy realized what he'd done and said he went inside so worried that he'd just flunked me, but I passed with flying colors! You should have seen Roy's face, he was so happy. It wasn't nearly as hard or scary as I thought it would be, but it sure felt weird being in the car without Roy.

Anyways, I'm going back to bed for another hour, and then I've got some grocery shopping to do by myself for the first time :/

3 didn't expect the Spanish Inquisition!:

Its not THAT strange. I have a friend that is 27 and has never had a license. I don't know if she'll ever get one either, I think she'd freak out too much driving! :P
Congrats though! Its nice to have the independence.

haha. I was just talking with Leah and laughing about how it's very likely that her and I will have our first child before I ever own a car.

I never owned one in high school, or college, and now that I live in NY there's no need now either.

One of my coworkers asked me today if I could drive the UHaul for an event we're doing next week. She said that she hasn't driven in like 10 years. Crazy.

Yikes! But in a place like NY, it doesn't really make sense to own a car so that's understandable. Plus, the money it costs for a car makes a down payment on a house...so if you can get away with not having one, go for it!
